I am confident that every candidate we have listed on our voter’s guide is pro-life. However, there is a good possibility that there may be additional candidates who may be pro-life, but they did not respond to us in time, or we could not obtain their contact information. We do our very best to identify all pro-life candidates. Every election is important! Off-year elections (those in years that end in an odd number) and especially primaries in those years, historically have the lowest voter turnout. With fewer votes cast, your vote means more. The super-voter who turns out for every election will vote. The next most likely to vote are the voters who took advantage of the relaxed new rules and applied for mail-in voting. You may not like the new rules, but if we want to compete we MUST take advantage the same way the pro-abort voters have done. First, we must urge everyone in our sphere of influence to be registered to vote. Secondly, we must urge them to apply for a mail-in ballot and check to receive an annual mail voting application each year. I did, and so must you. The voter registration deadline is May 1, and the deadline for your mail-in ballot application to be received is May 9. Information for doing either or both can be found at www.pafamilyvoter.com. LifePAC does not have the capability to survey all the many local municipal races that will be on your ballot. School board races are very important. I urge you to educate yourself by talking to the candidates yourself, or at least asking others you trust. Pafamilyvoter.com is making an effort to get replies from as many school board candidates as they can, so check them out. If you would like to circulate additional printed copies of LifePAC’s voter guide, call me at 412-251-2873 or Anita at 412-728-3647. You may also e-mail our link to all your friends and encourage them to print our current voter guide. If they sign up on our website, they will automatically get our guides in future elections. |
